This is such a good article. Can you post the reminders and tips to your page for those who may not be subscribed yet? I put a link on my FB page, but not sure if it will work or not.

Not familiar with the term substack, but could not find it from the Project 529 page I was on. Thanks.

Great article, thank-you. And because you don't spam us, I actually opened the e-mail! Just bought a shield (didn't know what that was) and also a Bikebac. Already have insurance and I triple lock everything. I live in Portland, OR and we have a lot of bike theft. My bike is my only source of transportation, so thanks so much for helping me keep it safer.

A thought about insurance: Are there any insurers who do a good multi-bike discount. I know I'm not the only idiot with multiple high-value bikes. All the quotes I've tried with bike specialty insurance price up nearly linearly with each one which rapidly becomes ridiculous. The risk doesn't really extend linearly since only one is out in the world at a time and it would seem reasonable to get a significant discount as they are added.

Hi Tim,

I'm not sure where you are located, so these may not be useful, but I know that Sundays has a multi-bike discount. It looks like Simple Bike Insurance does as well.
